PRE-EVENT:
Future Spaces of Sustainable Food Production

Food-Scapes Poster

On October 25 in Copenhagen, you can join a conference addressing the necessary and emerging restructuring of food production systems from a spatial perspective. What role can territorial and spatial planning, and architecture play in reorienting food production toward preferable spatial, social, climatic, environmental, and biodiverse outcomes?

International speakers will include Caroline Steel (Author of Hungry City and Sitopia, London), Samir Bantal (OMA, Rotterdam), Milica Topalovic (ETH Zürich), Line Gordon (Stockholm Resilience Center), and Vicente Guallart (IAAC and Vincente Guallart Architects, Barcelona). Two panel debates will involve Danish actors in the future food discussion – from economic and corporate actors to environmental and political actors and NGOs.
