The DAC Architecture Run is an opportunity to combine sight-seeing with movement and fun.  Run through buildings and alley ways, on pathways and stairways, in gardens, parks and grand museums – and get special access to buildings that are normally closed to the public.

You can choose whether you want to walk 5 kilometers, run 5 kilometers or maybe you are tough enough to take the long route of 10 kilometers. Choose your race type when you book your ticket.

The price is 45 Euros (340DKK) for adults and the run starts at The Danish Architecture Center (DAC).

The 8 km route has more than 30 architecture stops, starting and ending at BLOX. Explore art installations and attractions along the way and investigate how Copenhagen fosters a culture of exercise and encourages everyday cycling by creating greener and healthier environments.

Don’t have a bike? Rent one from the event partner Donkey Republic’s  that have more than 5000 bikes located around Copenhagen via their app.

 

Attendance is free and open for everyone, welcoming riders of all abilities.

Located in the centre of Copenhagen, the majestic city hall is worth the visit when we welcome you,  together with the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen Sophie Hæstorp Andersen, to the World Capital of Architecture, and to the congress. Drinks and the City Hall’s famous pancakes will be served during the reception. Registration and printing of congress badges will also be possible to avoid queues monday morning.
