Welcome to the official opening of the Green and Thriving Neighbourhoods exhibition and community Hub in Spor10, a converted train depot in the Jernbanebyen district. You can look forward to experiencing community-driven initiatives addressing global urban challenges at the heart of Copenhagen. There, the exhibition will showcase some of the best practices and knowledge around proximity planning and neighbourhood design, with examples from international Green and Thriving Neighbourhoods pilots providing concrete climate action while improving community health and wellbeing.  The event will be opened by the city of Copenhagen and hosted by the consortium that has created the exhibition – C40 Cities, Novo Nordisk, NREP, INGKA, Freja Ejendomme, DSB, Gehl Architects, COBE, and the Spor10 community. It will be an evening celebration inviting UIA guests, urban decision makers and practitioners working within the green and thriving neighbourhood global movement, and local community leaders. In addition to the exhibition, guests will have the chance to experience the unique mixed-use space at Spor10 and the community partners of the house which will include local community NGO´s, youth groups, skaters, performers and entrepreneurs.
