Amr Attia

Professor, Ain Shams University, Cairo & Managing Partner, PUD Consultants

Amr Attia is a Professor of architecture and planning at Ain Shams University and the managing partner of PUD (Planning and Urban Development) Consultants, which has successfully completed several signature planning & urban design signature projects in the Middle East since its establishment in 1966.

Amr is a seasoned executive and a business leader who delivered large development projects and complex programmes. He led multidisciplinary design teams and has extensive experience in project and programme management, strategic planning, urban and regional planning, tourism development planning, master planning, real estate development, housing and architecture.

Amr has extensive experience in business and projects leaderships. In his career, he served as the Principal Director of design, planning and economics at AECOM, Vice President for Strategic Development for the Middle East and Africa at WATG and recently as the Cheif Executive Officer at NAGA Architects.

Amr was selected as an Eisenhower Fellow in the Common Interest Program on the Challenges of Urbanization. Amr has been an active participant in the Aspen Institute, USA in the leadership seminar and later in the seminar and white paper on Propositions for the Future of Art Museums.
