Anton Ryslinge is a Danish architect and urban planner, CEO of Architects Without Borders DK, and Vice-chair of Architecture Sans Frontières International.
Anton is a practitioner in the nexus of architecture, planning and development. With broad international experience, including in developing countries – and as founding member of Architects Without Borders in Denmark – he continuously seeks to highlight the roles and possibilities of architects working with the humanitarian parts of the profession.
With experience as a private consultant, civil servant, NGO-professional, and volunteer, Anton brings a cross-disciplinary perspective to the architect’s role as designer of both objects and processes. Anton sees the built environment as an opportunity to increase dignity and inclusion and reduce the stark inequalities that characterizes urban life – especially in the Global South.
