Graduate of the Institute of Political Science and Journalism at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. He obtained his PhD in 2005, and since 2017 he has been a postdoctoral researcher in social sciences in the field of political science (Institute of Political Science and Journalism at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań).
From 2006 to 2018 he was deputy mayor of Pleszew. Since 2018, he has been mayor of Pleszew. Member of the Expert Committee on Climate and Space at the Ombudsman. In addition to his professional work at the Pleszew Town and Municipality Office, he is a researcher – among others at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Arts of the Adam Mickiewicz University. Currently scientifically affiliated with the Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences, where he also sits on the Scientific Council of the Institute. Member of the Polish Political Science Association and the Poznań Society of Friends of Science.
