Ejvind Spence

Student of Landscape Architecture & Climate Activist

Ejvind Spence works and thinks across many fields of interest. He is currently enrolled at Denmark’s School of Art Photography, Fatamorgana. The two semesters at the School of Photography are pushed in between his second and third year of his bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture at Copenhagen University.

In his art as well as in his studies, Ejvind has a keen focus on nature and light, the pair becoming his source of inspiration. He is interested in the perception and the common understanding of nature in relation to humans and is dreaming of being able to understand this relationship and build upon it in his work.

Ejvind has furthermore been active in Den Grønne Ungdoms- bevægelse, a national movement for young climate activists. His work in the movement has been many-faceted but the basis of the work has always been a keen understanding of the issues that he is fighting against.
