Halla, educated as a graphic designer, and has an extensive experience as an art director and a creative administrator. She worked in design and communication for more than a decade, servicing a broad range of clients, including large and small businesses and institutions. As a designer, art director, creative director, she had gained valuable experience and insight into the process of design and design thinking as an instrumental tool for social and business development.
She is the first Managing Director of Icelandic Design and Architecture, a designer and architect-driven platform focusing on a broad spectrum of design and architecture. The Iceland Design and Architecture is a driving force for change through design and architecture, focusing on sustainability, social changes, urbanism, and digitalization.
