Lilia Cannarella

Head of the department EU Policies, Urban Agenda and Programming, National Council of Italian Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Conservators (CNAPPC)

Since 1997, graduated with honors she has been involved in architectural design and restoration of historical heritage.

Lilia is an Expert in European planning and use of structural funds, since 2007, she coordinates teams for local and territorial development projects through the approach of participatory planning of territorial communities. She Has coordinated several calls for proposals published by the European Commission under the current 2021-2027 programming. Since 2018, coordinates the CNAPPC project “Abitare il Paese,” which promotes the sustainability of the built environment among the younger generations through territorial co-planning actions with schools throughout Italy.

Member of the National Council of Italian Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Conservators (CNAPPC), Vice-president from 2016 to 2021.

Member of the International Union of Architects (UIA), in the role of Council member for Region 1 since 2021.

Member of the UMAR in the role of Treasurer for the 2023-2026 term of office.
