Lilia Cannarella

Head of Department, National Council of Italian Architects, EU Policies, Urban Agenda and Programming

Since 1997, graduated with honors she has been involved in architectural design and restoration of historical heritage.

She is an Expert in European planning and use of structural funds, since 2007, she coordinates teams for local and territorial development projects through the approach of participatory planning of territorial communities. She has coordinated several calls for proposals published by the European Commission under the current 2021-2027 programming. Since 2018, she coordinates the CNAPPC project “Abitare il Paese,” which promotes the sustainability of the built environment among the younger generations through territorial co-planning actions with schools throughout Italy.

She is a member of the National Council of Italian Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Conservators (CNAPPC), Vice-president from 2016 to 2021.
