Mohammad Arar

Associate Professor, Ajman University, United Arab Emirates

Dr. Arar is an associate professor in the Department of Architecture and program coordinator at Ajman University. He was the head of Department of Architectural Engineering at Ajman University for five years (2007-2012). He completed his PhD study in the field of Urban Environmental Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York, USA. He finished his Master of Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Arar has two Undergraduate degrees: Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of City and Regional Planning from University of Louisiana, USA. Before Joining Ajman University, Dr Arar was an assistant professor and the Head of the architectural Engineering department at Applies Sciences University in Amman, Jordan (1997-2001). Dr Arar has several publications his main interest is in Architecture, urban design, urban planning and build environment.
