Robert is the Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer for the M&C Saatchi Group made up of 6 creative companies and 350 diverse team members in South Africa.

Equipped with the philosophy of Brutal Simplicity of Thought, Robert drives the strategic marketing and communications mandate for a number of South Africa’s most chosen and loved brands including Takealot.com, Standard Bank, Lexus, Nando’s and Heineken to name a few.

Leveraging the power of creativity to be a force for good sits front and centre for the agency group which has seen it help brands and organisations tackle major issues from Cape Town’s widely publicized drought crises that prevented ‘Day Zero’, through to creating a global movement for people experiencing homelessness, The Street Store, which has seen over 1,000 stores pop-up around the world clothing an estimated 700k people.

With a keen passion for creativity and the arts, Robert also sits on the Board of the National Arts Festival, South Africa’s longest running arts festival which consistently brings critical acclaim and has brought many new artists and ideas to the global stage.
