Ron Wickmann

Architect

Ron Wickman Architect has a Master of Architecture and approximately 30 years of experience producing a wide variety of work to fill its mandate of Improved Accessibility for the Public – including Architecture, reports, research, way-finding systems, graphics, accessibility audits, legal reports, cost profiles, accessibility consultant to other architectural firms, speaking engagements, critiques and guidebooks. He has also published two books on Accessible Architecture.

Notable he has Pro Bono engagement with :Safety Codes Council on the Barrier Free Design Council and member of the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification Advisory Committee.

In addition he is winner of Council of Canadians with Disabilities Award; Winner of City of Edmonton’s Award for Accessible Architecture, Facility or Dwelling Designed for Persons With Disabilities – Ambrose Place Excellence in Building design The ROOPH (recognize Outstanding Organizations, People and Housing) Awards.
