Vanessa Zadel is architect certified in digital design and fabrication by The Fab Foundation (USA) and The Architectural Association (UK). She is member of the Advisory Committee on Accessibility of the College of Architects (Perú), member of The International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) and member of the Work Program ¨Architecture for All¨ of the Union Internationale des Architectes (UIA). Won the first place in the Good Practices in Inclusion Contest (2021) organized by CONADIS Perú in the category “Accessibility: information and communication” and a honourable mention in the 2022 edition.
Master of Science with mention in Architecture – History, Theory and Criticism. Candidate for Doctor of Education. Professor and Academic Secretary of the Architecture Faculty of the University of Lima.
Her current research focuses on the importance of universal design in architecture learning, as well as the social implications of the use of digital fabrication as an inclusive communication tool of the architectural project.
