The pre-event symposium of Panel 1: Design for Climate Adaptation will focus on how architecture can approach climate adaptation, using indigenous knowledge, nature-based solutions, and behavioural change and action. We are pleased to announce the pre-event symposium of Panel 1: Design for Climate Adaptation, organised by Panel Chairs Billie Faircloth and Maibritt Pedersen Zari. The symposium examines approaches to climate adaptation in architecture, focusing on three themes across three days:

 

June 7: Adaptation Through Indigenous Knowledge and Adaptation Through Frameworks

 June 8: Adaptation Through Nature Based Solutions

 June 9: Adaptation Through Behaviour Change and Action

Pre-Event 3: Design for Climate Adaptation Symposium

 

This is the third pre-event in the UIA2023CPH Science Track-series of six pre-events diving deeper into the complexities of each of the six Science Panels leading up to the UIA2023CPH World Congress event in Copenhagen July 2 – 6, 2023.
