In this session, Mr. Yurii Vaskov, Deputy Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, will share the vision and the needs for the rebuilding of Ukraine on a national level. Afterwards, Mr. Dmytro Falko, Secretary of Mykolaiv City Council, Mrs. Ana Paez, project manager and urban planner from the design company One Works in Italy, and Mr. Jesper Karup Pedersen, Technical Director, Economics and Management, from the Danish consulting firm COWI will make a joint presentation and share the concrete masterplan for the city of Mykolaiv (the UN4Mykolaiv project).
The session will debate how to build back better, how sustainable solutions can be reached and how to ensure democratic and inclusive development.
Mrs. Kristine Leth Juul, architect, Vice-Chancellor of Aarhus School of Architecture, Denmark, will moderate the debate.
