EXPLORE THE SCIENCE TRACK

The Science Track gathers some of the world’s foremost experts in their fields to identify solutions to some of the most pertinent challenges facing architecture and sustainability today.

The challenges have been explored by 6 science panels focusing on the six congress themes , that are based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Panel 1, Design for Climate Adaptation: Billie Faircloth and Maibritt Pedersen Zari
Panel 2, Design for Rethinking Resources: Carlo Ratti and Mette Ramsgaard Thomsen
Panel 3, Design for Resilient Communities: Anna Rubbo and Juan Du
Panel 4, Design for Health: Arif Hasan and Christian Benimana
Panel 5, Design for Inclusivity: Magda Mostafa and Ruth Baumeister
Panel 6, Design for Partnerships for Change: Sandi Hilal and Merve Bedir

At the World Congress you can join the discussions when 250+ Science Papers will be presented and solutions identified for how to help achieve the 17 SDGs through architecture. It is an invitation to join in finding the solutions to global challenges together, as the meeting in Copenhagen is a starting point to a new approach and aims to send everyone home with something new to use in their practice.

Around 2000 people around the world have been involved over the last 3 years in preparing material that will be presented for the first time in Copenhagen.

You can find all the scientific paper presentations in the app or on the Science Track page.
