Don Brenninkmeijer chairs the Investment Committees of Laudes Foundation, an independent foundation accelerating the transition to a climate-positive and inclusive economy. Combining philanthropic purposes with the scale and reach of industry working through the global financial system to redirect the flow of capital so that investment encourages good business practices; and transform industries, tackling the most pressing and systemic issues in the built environment.
He serves as chairman of Built by Nature, a network and grant-making fund with a mission to accelerate the bio-based building transformation in Europe.
