Klaus Kellerman is Head of Sustainable Buildings in Roskilde Municipality. His primary objective is to introduce circular practices at both the local and national levels. Klaus is actively advocating for strong collaboration between the public and private sectors and is actively engaged in various development projects with this specific goal in mind. In addition to fostering industry partnerships, Klaus has integrated circular economy principles into the early planning stages by utilizing CO2 calculations as a decision-making tool.

Klaus also serves as the demonstration manager for Roskilde Municipality in CityLoops, where he has developed tools to assess the potential CO2 savings resulting from different circular actions. At a local level, he has successfully implemented circular strategies for both Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) and soil management, thereby emphasizing the importance of circular economy within the municipality’s policy framework.
