Dominique Remy-Granger trained at Sciences Po (Paris), in public law (Paris I) and in government law at Princeton University (NJ/USA). She taught comparative constitutional law for many years (at Sciences Po Paris I, NYU, Stanford and Nanterre). For over ten years at the Conseil Constitutionnel, she worked alongside the Presidency and the General Secretariat, responsible for the Conseil Constitutionnel’s external relations (1989-2001).

She then spent fifteen years in the service of European cooperation in the field of justice and human rights, working from Paris and Brussels in a wide range of countries and environments. As a member of the body of Inspectors General of the French Ministry of Education, she worked on the introduction of a new legal option in the Terminale L (Year 12) (DGEMC).
