Possesses over twenty years of experience in the management of cultural heritage, including conceptualisation, design, implementation and supervision of a variety of projects. He has conducted several training programmes on the Conservation and Management of Immovable Cultural heritage in Africa.

He has lectured on conservation and urban regeneration in Kenya in addition to collaborating with the African World Heritage Fund, the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the International Centre for the study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) on the conservation and management of African heritage sites and cultural landscapes.
