Architect and Urbanist, with a master in Urban and Regional Planning and a PHD in Architectural Project, Dr Valter Caldana is a titular professor at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie of São Paulo, where he has been Director, Co-Director and Coordinator.
He has taught architecture and urbanism in numerous Universitites in Brazil and abroad, as an invited professor at the University of Sassari, Alghedo, Italy; the National Higher School of the Architecture of the City and Territory of Marne la Valée, France; and at the Politecnical Institute delle Marche in Ancona, Italy.
He is a founding member and diretor at AEAULP (Academy of Portuguese Language Higher Schools of Architecture and Urbanism) and a federal counselor at CAU, representing the higher education institutions.
