Annalena Sass

Student at the Royal Danish Academy

Annalena is an aspiring architect receiving her bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Royal Danish Academies institute of Landscape and Urbanism. She is a part of the Next Gen committee developing sessions powered by students and young professionals for the UIA world congress of architecture CPH23.

Originally from Norway, Annalena showed great interest in sustainability early on, engaging herself in youth climate groups both locally and nationally, organizing climate protests, outreaching to local schools, and taking part in leadership conferences on climate activism.

At the Academy, Annalena is engaged in various groups including the Climate Group and the Human Rights Group with whom she has collaborated on several exhibitions. She also contributed to the exhibition Hephaistos, a pavilion exploring the potential of architecture to engage and stimulate a broader ability model, that has been exhibited both at the H22 Helsingborg City Expo, and at the Royal Danish Academies ADFÆRD/VELFÆRD exhibition.
