Judith Meta

Social Science Researcher

Judith Meta is a qualitative social science researcher who has a background in Sociology (BA) and Public Health (MPH) and whose works are mainly based in Tanzania, East Africa. She has been working in the field for more than fifteen (15) years collaborating with national and international health research project entities in Tanzania research that have resulted in a number of publications.

Judith’s works revolve around various health research projects mainly in malaria, HIV & AIDS and is currently a key local collaborator for the social science component of the Star Homes project that is implemented in Mtwara District. This social science component focuses on assessing acceptability of the Star Homes project in the community and it also informs other components of the project on how to optimize its results in the implementation of the project.
