Rafael Orendain Parra is the Coordinator of Strategic Projects for the City of Guadalajara. He is also a businessman in the financial, technological and construction fields.
His work is focused on promoting and encouraging the participation of local and national private initiatives, with the aim of ensuring the self-management of strategic municipal projects, particularly those focused on the creation of key integral public spaces which contribute to a greener, healthier and more prosperous city.
He also plans, promotes, and manages the granting of subsidies for housing initiatives, with a particular focus on social and low-income housing and developing housing as a means to promote population growth in the municipality in line with the public policy guidelines of urban development programmes.
Additionally, his work supports coordination projects and financing systems with the social and private sectors for the delivery of land and housing initiatives.
