Soon Kyoo Park is the Director for the Architecture Planning Division within the Housing Policy Office of the Seoul Metropolitan Government. As part of his responsibilities, he oversees the Urban Planning Committee, as well as policy on Architecture and Urban Planning, together with green construction.
Prior to this, he was the Director of the Public Housing Division, where he oversaw public housing complexes and the Reconstruction Plan of apartment complexes in places such as Yeouido and Apgujeong.
Director Park was also responsible for directing and organising UIA 2017 in Seoul when he served as Team Head for the Architecture Planning Division. In this role, he also oversaw the development of policies and initiatives to improve architectural design and promote sustainable development.
Director Park holds a Masters degree from the International School of Urban Sciences at the University of Seoul, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Architectural Engineering from Hanyan University.
