Tue is a senior consultant at CONCITO’s program for the Cities of the Future and project manager for DK2020 – Climate Plans for the whole of Denmark. DK2020 is a partnership project with Realdania and KL as well as municipalities and regions throughout Denmark that will help the municipalities to develop, update or adapt their climate work so that it meets the Paris Agreement.
Tue has a Ph.D. in strategic climate and energy planning and a master’s degree in environmental planning (cand.techn.soc.) from Roskilde University, as well as further education in project and change management. Tue has a background in professional analytical work with a focus on conversion of energy production systems and special emphasis on the development of CO2 accounts, potential mapping and scenario analyses, as well as the development of climate plans for municipalities and regions.
Tue has several years of experience with municipal climate and energy planning from several research projects, teaching and consulting work, as well as from his work in Copenhagen Municipality’s Climate Secretariat and Gate 21. In Copenhagen Municipality, he was responsible for the municipality’s climate plan – KBH2025 – and responsible for preparing new roadmaps and follow-up on progress in the implementation.
