Soha Macktoom

Associate Director, Karachi Urban Lab (KUL) / Adjunct Faculty, Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture (IVSAA)

Soha Macktoom is an Architect, with a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. She is an Associate Director at the Karachi Urban Lab, based within the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi.

She also teaches as adjunct faculty at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture (IVSAA) and at the Social Sciences and Liberal Arts Department (SSLA) at IBA. Her work as a researcher looks at the physical transformations of the built environment, with an emphasis on the intersection of architecture, development, displacement, infrastructure, and climate change.
