Ingeborg Hau

Curator & Editor, Royal Danish Academy

Ingeborg Hau is a Danish art and culture historian working with sustainable architecture. She is Chief advisor, Architecture and the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals, for the UIA World Congress of Architects 2023 “Sustainable Futures – Leave no one Behind”. Ingeborg is also a consultant, curator and editor at the Royal Danish Academy – Institute of Architecture and Technology. She is a former partner and co-owner of the private company Andel, where she headed projects on sustainable development, community engagement and partnering.

Ingeborg has worked with architecture’s potential in sustainable development for more than 15 years, as a curator, author, debater, and project developer. She has served as deputy commissioner of the official Danish Pavilion at the Architecture Biennale in Venice 2012-18 and has authored and edited a number of articles and books on sustainability in architecture including “An Architecture Guide to the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals, volume 2”.
